Mission
At the 8 October 2005 General Assembly SONCE decided on a new structural chart of the organization and elected/appointed the new members of the organization’s bodies.
Annex 2 of this document describes the structure of SONCE with details about the election, duties, mandate and other details on the bodies. At the moment the Management Board is comprised of: Ms. Mabera Kamberi – Chairperson, Mr. Samet Skenderi, Mr. Albert Musliu, Ms. Dragana – Dina Mitrovik, Mr. Pajtim Saiti, Ms. Kjmet Amet, Mr. Isljam Sakir. The Executive Boards is comprised of the following people: Mr. Nadir Redzepi, Executive Director, Ms. Alexandra Bojadzieva, Roma Rights and Interests Advocacy Programme Manager, Mr. Nezir Huseini, Local Co-operation Programme Manager, and Mr. Ferdi Ismaili, Youth Education and Culture Programme Manager. At the moment the organization has 4 employees, which are the members of the Executive Body. At the same time, the organization has continuous turn over of people employed by projects, activists and volunteers. All the employees at the organization have certain level of capacities for organizational work and work in the field of their responsibility. However, certain capacities should be extended and improved in some aspects. The management, control and system of planning at the organization are on high level among the organizational bodies. Bodies’ capacities, particularly on executive level are planned to be developed with coordination and information systems, and the capacity for implementation and time management is planned to be improved. All the people engaged in SONCE are committed to the work and are dedicated to contribute to the achievement of the aims of the organization and to consistently represent the organization in public. The organization has about 20 volunteers that are coming once a week and engage in various tasks. In the next period the organization has to work on their motivation.SONCE has well planning and controlling systems. With the new structure these systems are even more improved. Regarding the documentation system and the information management system SONCE makes efforts for improvement, adequate to the possibilities of the human capacity of the organization. Certain working standards, rules and procedures, programs (for capacity building, volunteers, etc), mechanisms and systems (monitoring and evaluation, financial management, etc), as well as some documents in regard to the human resources management and other issues will be documented, which is part of the organizational plan. These exist at the organization, but are missing as documents on paper.
