SONCE has realized 32 projects and number of extra activities since its establishment. It also had cooperated on many projects led by other organizations as a partner organization. Out of the realized projects in SONCE, 3 were aimed for refugees’ humanitarian aid, socially endangered families, etc; 7 projects were educational, 2 of which also include economic component; 1 project was in the field of infrastructure; 9 projects were institutional support, which besides covering basic and administrative costs at the organization includes activities educational and other direct activities for the Roma community, managerial activities and activities for cooperation building among SONCE and other stakeholders involved in the Roma issues; 2 projects were aimed to improvement of the interethnic relations, 1 of which also includes economic component; 1 project aimed to participation and integration of Roma; and 9 projects aimed to lobby and advocacy, promotion and application of human/minority rights of Roma and others. Complete list of realized projects with a short description for each project is given in Annex 1 of this Strategic Plan. Donors of SONCE’s projects are diverse. However, most of the funds were received from foreign donor agencies, while only small number of projects were funded by Macedonian donors. Annex 1, besides projects’ short descriptions, contains information about the projects’ donors.
For the projects’ realization, various budgets were realized annually. The following table presents SONCE’s budget per year for the period 1999-2005.
