RDDA Sonce works on its priorities through three programs: Roma Rights and Interests Advocacy Program, Education and Culture for Youth Program, and Local Cooperation Program.RDDA Sonce is part of the local NGO forum as part of the Local Cooperation Program. The forum is chaired by the Mayor of Tetovo and serves for discussions among the NGOs about various topics of interest for the local community. This way Sonce ensures Roma interests are included in local programs and initiatives undertaken by the local self-government. RHAM Sonce is also part of a local NGO network working on decentralization and local participation. Within this program various grass roots activities are organized with the Roma community and others if needed. The activities are planned with participation of the Roma community, thus depend on the needs and interests of the Roma community and cover various areas as media, education, health, etc.
