| Aims | To be exercised pressure on the legal system in Macedonia towards changing the treatment of the Roma through the intervention of the UN Working Group for Minorities for informing regarding the iregularities of the legal system in the Republic of Macedonia twards the Roma. | |

A representative from SONCE was present on the 11th session of the UN Working group for Minorities. On this meeting our representative made an intervention regarding the legal system in Macedonia and the treatment of the Roma through the case of Amdi Bajram, with the purpose for the UN Working Gropu for Minorities to take on some activities for pressuring the government of Macedonia for changing this situation. During the presence, the representative from SONCE contacted other individuals and organizations present on the meeting, and in this way extra common intervention about the situation of the Roma in Europe were made. |
